Collection timeline

« Back to Glossary Index

The collection timeline is a chronological overview of everything that has happened on a customer account: collection notices sent, calls, responses, promises to pay, disputes, and payments.

Example

Before calling a customer, the collections agent opens the timeline: he sees that two emails have gone unanswered and that a promise to pay by the 15th has not been kept.

Why It’s Important

It prevents you from repeating a task you’ve already completed and provides context in just a few seconds, even when the case is handed off to someone else.
